Skilled Immigration

Canada plans to welcome over 400,000 immigrants every year between 2021 and 2023 as contemplated under its ambitious Immigration Level Plan announced in 2020. 60 percent of those are going to be arriving in Canada as skilled workers who possess skills and education useful for the economy of Canada. Mainly, skilled workers are selected through the Express Entry application management system. There are other ways as well through which skilled workers are selected which include Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), Quebec skilled worker program and few other targeted programs prescribed by the Federal Government such as Caregivers Program, the Atlantic Immigration Pilot, the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot, and the Agri-Food Pilot.
